IAMS - they market themselves as one of the exclusive type dog food - certainly they're considerably more expensive than many other brands.
It just goes to show that you never know when something is not as it seems.
I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing. Dogs and cats being kept in the most horrendous conditions and denied medical treatment while IAMS tests its petfood on these poor defenceless little creatures. To think that a dog food company is mistreating helpless little animals just like your dog and mine - only misfortunate enough not to have a loving owner.
I urge you to immediately discontinue using IAMS if you already use it, make a pledge never to use it if you don't already use it, and to publicise this scandal as far and wide as you can - tell your friends /colleagues /people you talk to in the park walking their dogs, etc.
It's rare for me to be as vocal as this about any issue, but this just appalled and sickened me. I never ever imagined that dogs (and cats) are made to suffer in order that other dog owners (you and me) can be sold on supposedly appetising food for our dogs.
